Confused.com started life as a web directory in early 2000, it reviewed websites as well as acting as a listing for finincial companies within the UK. Using their experience and research from this they realised that internet users were frustrated by having to crawl through loads of site in order to find a decent quote. This is when confused.com switched its buisness model. They became a trading name of Inspop.com and have developed into the well know houshold name it is today.
